Hi Zetan, I’m developing my own post-apocalyptic VN and I really admire how Desert Stalker handles map layout and environmental storytelling.
I’m especially curious about how you design your world maps — do you start with lore and faction control first, or do you build the physical layout and then write around it?
By far my favorite VN on steam. Any plans for a new game in the works or is your main focus the updates to this one? If so in what year roughly could we expect it? I'm dying for another one
Man this game is sooo good. I can feel how much the developer is smart. I wander what kind of rendering tool do you use to build your character, if you don't mind?

I seriously love what you’ve built so far. The writing pulled me in right away, the graphics look amazing, and the combat system feels really engaging and unique. You can tell a lot of passion went into this project, and it shows in every update. I’m really excited to see where you take this game next — keep up the incredible work!
hey thank you very much, for years now I am working with two co-devs who work on the complex code and assist with the writing. Recently another dev joined who is assisting me mainly with rendering, but he also plays a big role in the new UI.
There are still some years of content planned for DS to finish the main and character stories. After that - we'll see. I don't plan on stopping :)
the intern beta version from the patreon does get leaked sometimes, there is nothing sus about it because it is not me who is leaking it. The one that will be uploaded here is a more polished one, even if it takes a little longer. First, supporters on patreon and SS get the (more unpolished) early access because they support the game on a monthly basis. then, Steam and itch.io get the more polished version, more likely to include translations. I will upload the itch version tomorrow
Understood, the suspense for v20 has been insane after v19 left off! Been one of the most sought after continuing I think we've had in a while with this title! Please no rush just glad you are still here with us, and didn't forget about us! Really wish I could support on pateon but our country blocks the sub service :/ thanks you for the update! It's one of the best out there!
Damn it man, 19.4 was a hell of a cliffhanger. I don't like how easily two Stalkers and the Queen highly trained in Swordsmanship were captured by a few random thugs though.
Hopefully nothing too bad happens to the girls, i'm still traumatized from recently playing the Neverwhere Tales, where one of the best LI's was killed :(

I love this game. I played it through around the v.14 mark and loved it then, and now I just bought the paid version at .19.4 to begin all over again and I'm even more excited than the first run-through.
I love the imagery and the music, and the women are the hottest in any VN, IMO. Thanks for your beautiful work, Zetan! Keep doing what you do so well.

Very hot and cool world building. Hope we can also knock up the raider sisters at some point. The game is one of the few games of such a high quality I don't mind donating on top of what I paid to buy it on itch and Steam
theyre two of my favorite.. i didnt know what i was doing during the opening scene and im super glad i let her go HA such a hot handful of scenes with those two.
Hi, I need help unlocking a scene of the mutants, it tells me that I must sleep in the mutants base after meeting Krair in the gym (Fangs romance), I thought I had done everything but I sleep and nothing happens
Dev, I bought your game and the content surprise me... yes ! the characters is beautiful and outlook is unique compare to other game , not only that it actually have personality and story behind them all ... not just let's meet and sex cause is adult game and we are horny for no reason... I also like the background you set us in ... like medieval time when slave is normal so we have a choice to be dominate if we want (but I play love role so is romantic) ... plus mutant and crisis scenario really make MC have the right to do anything but still let player decide to be tyrant or gentlemen ... I yet to finish the game but I do hope is story is long cause so far I enjoy a lot. conclusion this game is a surprise gem in visual novel adult game ,keep up the good work , I'm looking forward to your update and maybe future project

Oh, okay, thanks for the reply! I asked because I played the game in December 2024 and really enjoyed it, so I wanted to wait another year for the game to evolve enough to play again. So, I guess let's play again. :)

yes, it's a zip you unpack, then you launch the program.

thank you, like many other VN's, I use daz3d almost exclusively, and if needed some photoshop for single stylized renders. :)
Awesome. How did you start your learning path when beginning VN development? Did you begin with the art or coding? or did you do both simultaneously?
